Fey stars with Margot Robbie, Martin Freeman, Nicholas Braun, Christopher Abbott, Sheila Vand, Stephen Peacocke and Evan Jonigkeit. “Crazy Stupid Love” helmers Glenn Ficarra and John Requa are directing from Robert Carlock’s script. The film will recount Barker’s years as a journalist in Afghanistan and Pakistan. She covered the volatile region while a reporter at ProPublica and as the South Asia bureau chief for The Chicago Tribune from 2004 to 2009. Fey, Lorne Michaels and Ian Bryce are producing. Shooting began in New Mexico in February.
