“Prometheus” sequels “to reveal who created aliens”

PanARMENIAN.Net - It was previously reported that "Prometheus" was getting three follow-up movies and the final one would be connected to 1979's "Alien". Speaking with IGN, director Ridley Scott provided some plot details for the sequels to "Prometheus", including "Alien: Paradise Lost", hinting that those sequels would reveal who created the aliens, AceShowbiz reports.

" 'Prometheus 2' will start getting shot in February and I've already begun now so I know what the script is," said the director. "Then there will be another one after that and then maybe we'll back into 'Alien 1', as to why? Who would make such a dreadful thing?"

Scott stressed that he would focus on helming the three sequels to "Prometheus". "I'm trying to keep this for myself. I let the other one ['Alien'] get away from me - I shouldn't have... I'm trying to re-resurrect the beast and let it off the hook for a while because I'm coming back into the back-end of 'Alien 1'. I'm gradually getting to 'Alien 1'."

It has been confirmed that Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace would be back as the humanoid robot David and Dr. Elizabeth Shaw respectively in "Paradise Lost". Scott also hinted in previous interview that David and Elizabeth would not be alone in their adventure to track down the mysterious Engineers, because they would be joined by a new group of travelers. There is no official release date just yet, but "Paradise Lost" is expected to arrive in the U.S. in 2017.
