Singer-songwriter Benjamin Clementine wins 2015 Mercury Prize November 21, 2015 - 14:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Acclaimed singer-songwriter Benjamin Clementine has been announced as winner of the 2015 Mercury Prize with his stunning debut album, At Least For Now, Gigwise reports. At Least For Now, featuring the chilling and heavenily piano-led soul of 'Condolence', 'Cornerstone' and 'Nemesis', beat fellow nominees Wolf Alice, Gaz Coombes, Aphex Twin and Florence + The Machine among others to take home the gold. "Thank you. Thank you very much, I don't know what to say," said Clementine accepting his award. "I'd like to thank music, my great friend and manager Peter Hall, Gilbert Johnson, everbody... Sam Wright. I can't believe I've actually won this, I really can't. He continued: "I would like to say that if there's anyone watching, any child or student - the world is your oyster. Just go out there and get whatever you want to get."
