Hank Williams bio "I Saw the Light" trailer features Tom Hiddleston (video) December 2, 2015 - 11:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The first trailer for Hank Williams biopic, "I Saw the Light", has arrived online, AceShowbiz reports. The trailer shows Tom Hiddleston's Williams going through ups and downs during his entire life. Besides Hiddleston, Elizabeth Olsen, who stars as William's wife Audrey Mae, has a prominent role in the upcoming movie. The two-minute video opens with William's quote which reads, "People don't write music. It's given to them." It then continues showing the country singer's meteoric rise to fame and the joy brought by his son's arrival. The rest of the trailer shows William's turbulent personal life. Infidelity, substance abuse and crumbling marriage make the singer depressed before tragically dying. "Everybody has a little darkness in 'em. I'm talking about things like anger, sorrow, shame. I show it to them, and they hear it, and they don't have to take it home," he says. In the trailer, there is also a glimpse at Hiddleston's Williams singing "Move It on Over" and "I Saw the Light". In the movie, Hiddleston sings all of Williams' songs with his own voice. He studied with Grammy winner Rodney Crowell for months to approach Williams' signature sound. Written and directed by Marc Abraham, the biopic will have a limited release in the U.S. on March 25.
