First look at Samsung Galaxy S7 “leaks online”

It was only a matter of time before we got our first glimpse of Samsung's hotly-rumoured Galaxy S7 - and this could be it, Digital Spy said.

GSM Arena has obtained what it claims are renders of the handset from accessory manufacturer ITSkins, and it looks like Sammy is sticking to its guns.

The leaked designs show a device with similar proportions to the Galaxy S6, featuring the same curved edges and button placement.

Its dimensions are said to be 143.37 x 70.8 x 6.94mm, almost identical to the current-generation handset's 143.4 x 70.5 x 6.8mm.

The report also mentions a much larger version of the flagship device that measures in at 163.32 x 82.01 x 7.82mm, which would make it bigger than both the Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+.

"File this one under rumour for now, but it's worth noting that case makers often receive information about upcoming phones in advance so they can have accessories ready at launch," Digital Spy said.

The latest reports suggest that the Galaxy S7 will break cover as early as January.
