No one contests the fact of the Armenian genocide that does not need proving. US Ambassador to Armenia John Ordway stated that at the meeting with students of a number of Yerevan universities the day before yesterday. According to "Arminfo" agency, at the same time the ambassador noted, US position is based on the need of establishment of normal Armenia-Turkey relations according to the principle of sound economic cooperation. The US leadership does not think the legislative authorization of the fact of the Armenian genocide would enable establishment of the Armenia-Turkish relations, John Ordway stated.
