Time for Armenian, Azerbaijani Presidents to meet, U.S. official says

PanARMENIAN.Net - As a future OSCE Chair, Germany has assured the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs of its full commitment to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the MG U.S. Co-chair said, Trend reports.

According to James Warlick, the Co-chairs have met with the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers, Edward Nalbandian and Elmar Mammadyarov, on the sidelines of the OSCE Foreign Ministers Council summit on December 3-4, where the parties discussed details concerning the upcoming meeting between the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents, Warlick said.

“We believe that it is high time for the two leaders to meet and discuss future steps aimed at the peaceful settlement of the conflict,” the official said.
