Now they can see the actor getting ready to get in action as some photos from the set in Spain have surfaced online, AceShowbiz reports. Fassbender was spotted in an undisclosed location in Spain, where the movie was being filmed. He was seen walking around the desolate and dirty set. The photos are not clear and a little bit blurry, but it does give some new looks at Fassbender in his assassin attire as he's portraying Callum Lynch. The upcoming movie is said to feature an original storyline which seems to be different from the video games. However, there is still a chance that some characters from the game may appear in the movie. In "Assassin's Creed", Lynch experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories. He later finds out that he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day. The movie also stars Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson, Ariane Labed and Michael K. Williams. Directed by Justin Kurzel, the video games adaptation is slated to arrive in the U.S. on December 21, 2016.
