"Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" trailer features Tina Fey as war reporter (video) December 18, 2015 - 19:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Paramount Pictures has debuted the first trailer for "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot", showing some ridiculous moments in war-torn Afghanistan. Starring Tina Fey, the movie follows a journalist who is sent to the Middle East to report on the war, AceShowbiz reports. While her fellow reporters refuse to go to the country, Fey's Kim decides to take the big duty because basically she wants to "blow everything up" in her social, romantic and professional life by moving far away from America. "I wanted out of my mildly depressive boyfriend," Kim says in the trailer. While doing the challenging task in the extreme environment, Kim befriends a few people, including her roommate Tanya (Margot Robbie), her handler (Christopher Abbott) and a senior army (Billy Bob Thornton). Kim also has some outstanding experiences like doing a shooting exercise with Alfred Molina's character and making out with a photographer (Martin Freeman). The movie is based on Kim Barker's 2011 memoir "The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan". Sheila Vand, Nicholas Braun, Steve Peacocke and Scott Takeda are also in the cast. Directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, the comedy war movie is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on March 4, 2016.
