Tom Hiddleston as country music legend in “I Saw the Light” trailer

PanARMENIAN.Net - The tragic life of country music legend Hank Williams is retold in the latest trailer for Tom Hiddleston's I Saw the Light, Digital Spy reports.

The Marvel superstar portrays the late singer in director Marc Abraham's biopic, opposite Elizabeth Olsen as Hank's long-suffering wife Audrey.

I Saw the Light chronicles both Hank Williams's rise to the top of the country music charts and his sad death at age 29.

After shooting to fame with 'Your Cheatin' Heart' and 'Hey, Good Lookin'' in the '50s, Hank infamously spiraled into the depths of alcohol and drug abuse.

Abraham's movie – which is based on Hank Williams: The Biography – had its world premiere earlier this year at the Toronto International Film Festival.

I Saw the Light opens in U.S. cinemas on March 25.
