Ever since rising rent prices have been putting young musicians off London, Brighton has become a new centre of musical gravity with some of the very best new bands like Tigercub, Demob Happy, and Nimmo basing themselves there.

Fable, a 20-year-old originally from Devon, is the latest musician to truly mesmerise our ears from the seaside town. 'I Am You' is a dark, twisted slice of electronica with raw, haunted, female vocals - so good that it's inspired The Cult to invite her on tour in February, Gigwise said.

The moody nature of the track is well conveyed in the semi animated video below. The movement of the black and White and kaleidoscopic imagery of the gothic looking singer emphasises the adrenaline of at the right moments.

The overall huge sound of the track, is helped by Paul Steel (The Xcerts, Mika, Saint raymond) who co-wrote and produced the track and Lee Groves (Goldfrapp, Gwen Stefani, Kimbra) who mixed this catchy hit. These aren't her only notable collaborators. She's written alongside Orbital's Paul Hartnol and Bloc Party's Russell Lissack in the past.

Before the release of 'I Am You', Fable spent last year promoting her debut EP, Parasite at small venues all across the UK. Now with her biggest sounding track to date, she has the opportunity to blow people away on the biggest stages - where she'll be supporting The Cult.
