“Room” star Jacob Tremblay joins FOX's

PanARMENIAN.Net - FOX's "The Last Man on Earth" has nabbed a rising star. Jacob Tremblay, a 9-year-old who just won the Critics' Choice Awards for Best Young Actor/Actress, has booked a guest-starring role on the comedy series, AceShowbiz reports.

Tremblay will appear in one spring episode as young Phil/Tandy, the character played by Will Forte. No other details about the episode are available now, but it's most likely about flashbacks. No exact air date is announced yet.

Tremblay stole Hollywood's attention after playing Brie Larson's on-screen son in critically-acclaimed "Room". For the role, he is also nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Perfomance by a Male Actor.

Forte was nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for "Last Man on Earth" at the Critics' Choice Awards but lost it to Jeffrey Tambor of "Transparent". The actor sported a half-shaved head at FOX All-Star party held at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, California on Friday night, January 15. The new look reportedly is intended for his role on the FOX series.
