The Coral release video to “Miss Fortune”, 1st single in 6 years (video) January 21, 2016 - 12:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Coral have shared the video to 'Miss Fortune', their first single since 2010, Gigwise reports. The track is taken from their new album Distance Inbetween - released 4 March on Ignition Records. The video appears to mimic an LSD trip with bright psychedelic colours and dizzying movement - it's the perfect visual accompaniment to this incredible new song. The track easily stands up alongside some of their greatest hits, which include, 'Dreaming Of You', 'In The Morning', and 'Pass It On'. Impressively, 'Miss Fortune' manages to capture influences like Neu! and Can in a more prominent way than they've done previously, yet keep Beatles-esque catchiness remains in tact. Which is proof that you can play the hits yet also make some incredibly innovative music. The song also has some sense of musical kinship with Wirral-based band, The Sundowners. On Boxing Day The Coral released a free mp3 and video of album track 'Chasing The Tail Of A Dream', which has had countless plays on 6Music and Radio X but it is not a 'single'. 'Miss Fortune' is where The Coral revival begins. Top stories The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest.
