Logan Lerman stars in the coming-of-age drama, which is based on the novel by Philip Roth about the son of a kosher butcher who leaves his sheltered family life in New Jersey to attend college in Ohio, where he clashes with the dean (Tracy Letts) and falls for a classmate (Sarah Gadon). Set in 1951, the “Indignation” drew respectful reviews at Sundance, where Schamus spent years on the other side of the negotiating table as the head of Good Machine and later, Focus Features. Schamus produced the film with Anthony Bregman and Rodrigo Teixeira. CAA negotiated the domestic deal on behalf of the filmmakers, while FilmNation is handling foreign sales.
