Foals, Disclosure to headline Reading & Leeds Festival 2016January 29, 2016 - 13:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - After months of rumour, yet more names have been revealed for the massive line-up of Reading & Leeds Festival 2016 - with Foals and Disclosure headlining, alongside loads more names being added, according to Gigwise. It had already been announced that Red Hot Chili Peppers would be headlining, with the likes of The 1975, Courteeners, Rat Boy, Hinds and more also performing. Now, it has been announced that Foals and Disclosure will be co-headlining and sharing the top spot of the bill on the same evening, while Two Door Cinema Club, Imagine Dragons, Jack U, Fetty Wap, Parkway Drive, The Internet, Kurupt FM and more have also been announced. Stepping up after their blistering secret set last year, Foals say of their headline appearance: “We're absolutely buzzing to be headlining Reading & Leeds this year. It's a dream come true. I used to watch Nirvana live at Reading '92, on vhs, repeatedly while dying my hair blue and learning how to play guitar, badly. "We've worked our way up on our own terms and to be given the chance to headline one of world’s most iconic festivals is a huge achievement for us and hopefully a sign for all bands, that, if you stick to your guns and focus on what matters, you'll get there and smash it. Onwards and upwards friends. Long live the guitar band” Reading & Leeds takes place from 26-28 August 2016.
