Germany says Iran’s President welcome to visit Germany February 3, 2016 - 16:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said on Wednesday, February 3 that he had told Iranian President Hassan Rouhani he was welcome to visit Germany the next time he comes to Europe, Reuters reports. Speaking after meeting Rouhani in Tehran, Steinmeier said he had urged him "to keep Germany in mind as a destination on his next trip to Europe." During a recent visit to Paris, Rouhani hailed a "new relationship" between Iran and France during, also signing a host of post-sanctions business deals. The real business of the visit will come when Rouhani officially signals Iran's intention to buy more than 100 passenger planes from European aircraft maker Airbus.
