Black Sabbath cancel more gigs over Ozzy Osbourne's illness

PanARMENIAN.Net - Black Sabbath have cancelled more shows on the North America leg of their tour, as Ozzy Osbourne battles severe sinusitis, Gigwise reports.

The band initially cancelled a handful of shows in Canada last week, with their Edmonton gig being scrapped just two hours before the sold-out gig was supposed to start.

Now, they've scrapped more shows - and cancelled last night's show in Vancouver, again, just hours before it was scheduled to begin. A statement posted to the band's Facebook read, "Due to continued severe sinusitis, Ozzy Osbourne will be unable to perform with Black Sabbath as scheduled."

It continued, "The Vancouver performance has been postponed. Details regarding the rescheduled date will be announced as soon as it is available. Please hold on to your tickets until further details are available."

The tour - aptly named The End - is set to be Black Sabbath's final ever tour. They recently announced details of a new eight-track album, which will be available to buy exclusively on tour.

They're set to headline Download Festival this summer, so fingers crossed Ozzy Osbourne has recovered by then, Gigwise said.
