Efron and DeVine play Dave and Mike Stangle, who often ruin their family get-togethers with their wild acts. In hopes of controlling their behaviors, their parents ask them to bring dates to their sister's upcoming Hawaiian wedding. Based on the true story of the Stangle brothers from Albany, New York, the movie follows hard-partying brothers Mike (Devine) and Dave (Efron) who place an online ad to find the perfect dates, played by Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza, for their sister's Hawaiian wedding.
