"Mad Max” star in talks for female lead in Stephen King's “Dark Tower”February 19, 2016 - 12:08 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Abbey Lee Kershaw is apparently eying a major role in "The Dark Tower". The actress who plays one of the "Wives" in "Mad Max: Fury Road" is in negotiations for the female lead role of Tirana in the adaptation of Stephen King's novel series, AceShowbiz reports citing Deadline. Kershaw will join Idris Elba who has been signed on to the gunslinger Roland Deschain and Matthew McConaughey who is expected to be the main baddie, Walter Padick a.k.a. Man in Black, if she closes the deal. The film will be based on the first book in the series "The Gunslinger" which revolves around Deschain, part of a knightly order of gunslingers who is on a quest to find the tower before evil invades and destroys it.
