Jennifer Lawrence tops Forbes’ list of highest-paid Oscar nomineesFebruary 25, 2016 - 10:47 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Jennifer Lawrence might have an issue or two with her pay grade, but rest assured– she’s doing OK for herself, TheWrap said. Lawrence, who’s currently nominated for an Academy Award for her starring role in “Joy,” also currently tops Forbes’ list of highest-paid Oscar nominees. According to Forbes, J-Law pocketed about $52 million in pretax pay between June 2014 and June 2015, a haul that was largely attributable to her starring role in the “Hunger Games” franchise. Her “Joy” payday and income from her Dior contract also contributed. Lawrence stood head and shoulders above her female colleagues on the list, none of whom took in more than $6 million in the same period. The “Silver Linings Playbook” actress also topped Forbes’ list of highest-paid actresses. The last actress to top the highest-paid actress list while also nominated for an Oscar was Sandra Bullock, who was nominated for “Gravity” at the 2014 awards. Whether Lawrence will best her competitors — a list that includes Cate Blanchett, Brie Larson, Charlotte Rampling and Saoirse Ronan — at this year’s ceremony remains to be seen.
