Relation Between Russia and Armenia Differs By Positive Dynamics
Armenian President Robert Kocharian's next visit to Russia is an evidence of active political dialog on the high level, says the message of Russian Embassy in Armenia in view of Armenian President Robert Kocharian's visit to RF. It also underlines that the visit of the head of Armenian State is aimed at increasing the Armenian-Russian strategic cooperation level, strengthening bilateral cooperation in the most important spheres, maximum using the strong impulse created in the result of the exchange of national years. "The relations between Armenia and Russia are characterized as allied and differ by positive dynamics of development. The regular contacts of presidents of both countries have become practical, which have confidence character. In the framework of the visit discussion of more actual issues of bilateral cooperation and its development is scheduled. The process of fulfilling the agreements will be discussed in details on high level concerning the further development of Armenian-Russian cooperation, particularly in energy and transportation spheres. Armenian and Russian presidents are planning to exchange opinions on deepening cooperation in CSTO, modernizing and reforming CIS.

At the focus of attention will be issues of coordinating efforts of both countries to improving the situation in the Caucasus, creation of confidential atmosphere for the sake of establishing cooperation in the region to settle the conflicts. A special accent will be given to the solution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Russia welcomes the continuation of Armenian Azeri dialog on different levels, and first of all on the level of presidents of both countries. We proceed from the fact that the sides themselves must come to mutually acceptable solution of the conflict. We are ready to perform active assistance both in bilateral and as a OSCE MG Co-Chair and become a guarantee for future possible agreement," says the Embassy message.
