Paramount nabs BenDavid Grabinski spec “Bravado”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Paramount just sealed a deal for Bravado, a topical action spec script by Black List scribe BenDavid Grabinski, Deadline reports.

American Sniper producer Andrew Lazar developed the script and is producing. Bravado is Narc meets Training Day, on steroids, is how it was described to Deadline. The protagonist is a former soldier who believes the world is a good place and worth fighting for, but his optimism is tested in the most dramatic way possible after he returns home from the war and takes a job as a police officer.

Lazar is working with Grabinski on Bloody Hell, a script the scribe plans to direct. Grabinski worked on Adventure Time for Warner Bros and wrote the Black List script The How To Guide To Saving The World which sold to MGM.

Alana Mayo brought it in for Paramount, which made a ticking-clock offer and a preemptive deal.
