"Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" comedy series season 2 trailer (video)

PanARMENIAN.Net - Netflix has debuted the first trailer for "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" season 2. Judging from the trailer, Kimmy's (Ellie Kemper) quirkiness and her interactions with other unique characters will once again be the source of laughs, AceShowbiz said.

It opens with Kimmy being amazed by the Christmas Tree Store, where she applies for a job to get her life back on track after rescued from a doomsday cult. She reunites with her nanny Jacqueline Voorhees (Jane Krakowski), who is now out of a husband and a cashflow.

Kimmy is also seen being attracted to a guy and her roommate Titus (Tituss Burgess) tries to teach her the ways of the world. As she and her friend explore New York together, they get introduced to the wild night life they never experienced before.

Kemper said about her character at TCA winter press tour in January, "She grapples with some pretty heavy life stuff in this season." She also talked about her relationship with her nanny Jacqueline, "The employer-employee relationship is sort of muddied a little bit because these two are friends. Their dynamic changes a little bit."

"Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" season 2 will be released Friday, April 15 on Netflix. The comedy has been renewed for a third season by the streaming service.
