Azerbaijan opens fire along Armenia border, Karabakh contact line

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan has been spreading misinformation in recent days to pave the way for destabilizing the situation in the conflict zone during pan-Christian holidays, the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army said in a statement.

During the last 24 hours, Azerbaijani forces opened intensive fire along the entire border with Armenia and the contact line with Karabakh, shooting from various caliber firearms, 60-and 82-mm mortars and TR-107 rocket launchers.

Besides, the Azerbaijani army shelled the Armenian border village of Berkaber Friday, March 25, wounding a civilian, 64-year-old Norik Alikhanyan, also causing major damage to another one’s household.
