It was bound to happen sooner or later - a tech company has created what is basically a flying selfie stick, Digital Spy said.
Australian company IoT Group's ROAM-e is smartphone-tethered drone that hovers in front of you and snaps a portrait shot.
It can recognise a face from up to 25 metres away, capture 360-degree panoramas, and can even stream up to 20 minutes of live video.
ROAM-e has its own quad-core ARM Cortex A7 processor on board and shoots photos with a 5-megapixel sensor, as Mashable points out.
The flying selfie stick is up for pre-order in Australia, priced at $349, but IoT Group hasn't revealed plans to launch it outside of its homeland.
