"Doctor Strange" 1st teaser trailer features Benedict Cumberbatch (video)

PanARMENIAN.Net - The first teaser trailer for Marvel's "Doctor Strange" was debuted on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Tuesday, April 12 and has since been made available for viewing pleasure online, AceShowbiz reports. It opens with a glimpse of Stephen Strange's (Benedict Cumberbatch) life as a neurosurgeon and his condition after a horrific car accident.

From then on, his life has changed. He looks scruffy with longer hair and beard. "You're a man looking at the world through a keyhole. You've spent your life trying to widen it. Your works saved the lives of thousands. What if I told you, that reality is one of the many," the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) says in voiceover as the scenes show Strange on a journey.

"I don't believe in fairytales about chakra or energy or the power of belief," Strange says, before the Ancient One opens his mind about another reality. "So much you don't know," she says. He then begs, "Take me..."

The video also gives a look at Rachel McAdams as a fellow surgeon of Strange, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mordo, and Mads Mikkelsen as an evil sorcerer.

Directed by Scott Derrickson, the action fantasy movie will hit theaters across the nation on November 4.
