Robert Kocharian and Jacques Chirac discussed Karabakh settlement issue

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Presidents of Armenia and France Robert Kocharian and Jacques Chirac had a meeting in Paris. At the meeting the heads of two states discussed Armenian-French relations, as well as the current stage of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process. Jacques Chirac and Robert Kocharian also participated in solemn opening ceremony of "Saint Armenia" (Armenia Sacra) exhibition dedicated to Armenian Christian culture from VI to XVIII centuries, which is being exhibited in Louvre for the first time. The presidents visited the exhibition where 200 pieces are displayed, including 30 Khachkars (cross stone), parts of "Noah's Ark" and etc.



Accompanied with Culture and Communication Minister Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres Jacques Chirac stayed too long in front of wood piece of "Noah's Ark" discovered in XVII century on the top of Ararat Mount. The exhibition will function till May 21. It is organized in the framework of Armenian Year in France, IA Regnum reports.
