All of Season 3 of Peaky Blinders will launch May 31 on Netflix, Deadline reports. The Stateside premiere of the UK-set 1920s crime saga arrives less than three weeks after the new six-epsiode season opens in Britain on BBC 2 on May 5. Oscar nominee Hardy will be back for part of the season as Alfie Solomons, the crime boss of London’s Camden Town. Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, Sophie Rundle, and Joe and Finn Cole are also among other returning cast members for the series. Seasons 1 and 2 of Peaky Blinders are, of course, already on the streaming service. News of the American debut of Peaky Blinders’ S3 comes as the cast and creatives premiered the season today in London. Opening on Tommy’s wedding day, the new season sees the Birmingham-born Shelby now a very wealthy man thanks to his criminal enterprises. However, as the specter of the First World War begins to recede and the Roaring Twenties take off, Tommy is caught up in an international arms deal that could alter more than a bet or horse race but the fate of the recovering Western world. There is also the matter of having to deal with his family and the threat they pose to Tommy’s future. Distributed by the Weinstein Company in the U.S. and Endemol UK on the other side of the pond, the Steve Knight-created Peaky is produced by Caryn Mandabach Productions and Tiger Aspect Production. Knight, Mandabach, Will Gould, Jamie Glazebrook, Frith Tiplady and Murphy all serves as EPs. Endemol Shine International has sold Peaky Blinders in 163 countries worldwide.
