Tyler Perry teases “Gone Girl” sequelMay 21, 2016 - 11:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A sequel to "Gone Girl" might actually happen, according to Tyler Perry. In an interview with Cinema Blend, Tyler responds to existing "Gone Girl 2" rumors by expressing his own interest in the continuation of Nick (Ben Affleck) and Amy Dunne's (Rosamund Pike) bizarre story, AceShowbiz said. "I haven't heard those rumors. But that would be really exciting, because I feel like there's more to that story," the actor, who starred as Nick's attorney Tanner Bolt in the first movie, shares, "And Gillian, she's brilliant, and would write something awesome." Rosamund was the one who started the sequel rumors shortly after the original was released in 2014. When asked if she would return for a sequel, the actress insisted, "No, no, no." However, she later added, "Only if Gillian [Flynn] wrote it. I don't like the idea of someone coming in and saying I could get my hand on these characters." In early 2015, Gillian added fuel to the rumors. "There could be a sequel at some point if everyone is game to get the gang back together, it could be really fun a few years from now," the author told NY Daily News at the BAFTA L.A. Annual Awards Season Tea Party. "We could pick it up and see what those crazy Dunnes are up to a few years down the road and if they got on - not well, I don't think."
