“Ghostbusters” international trailer brings plenty of jokes (video) May 21, 2016 - 11:56 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - There’s been plenty of discussion about the female-led “Ghostbusters” reboot, particularly since the trailers haven’t made much of an impression so far. But judging by the latest international trailer, the problem may just have been that previous teasers had just been leaving out the jokes, TheWrap reports. That’s not a problem with the latest international trailer, posted Friday, May 20 morning, which is packed with hilarious moments. We get one about how Kristen Wiig is the one who has to test out the proton pack because, as Kate McKinnon notes, she has “the longest arms.” We get an official referring to the Ghostbusters as “sad, bored, lonely, sad women” on live TV. We get Chris Hemsworth being totally adorable. In short, we get a look at the sort of comedy movie that we expected from this all-star team, which includes Wiig, McKinnon, Melissa McCarthy and Leslie Jones as the Ghostbusters, with Hemsworth as the secretary and Neil Casey, Andy Garcia, Michael K. Williams and Cecily Strong in supporting roles. Paul Feig (“Bridesmaids,” “Spy”) is behind the camera. The original “Ghostbusters” film landed in 1984 and starred Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. It got one not-particularly-well-received sequel in 1989, with another that sat in perpetual development hell before this reboot took off. “Ghostbusters” hits theaters on July 15.
