 Turkey says over 7000 PKK militants killed in last 10 months May 24, 2016 - 18:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish security forces have killed 7,078 PKK militants in military operations conducted in the last 10 months, the military said Monday, May 23, according to Daily Sabah. The number of killed militants include those killed in Turkey and also during the operations launched against the group in its northern Iraq camps. Meanwhile, the sources said between July 24, 2015 and May 23, 2016, 483 security officers -296 military officers, 178 police officers and 9 village guards- had died in operations or in attacks by the militants. In addition, 1568 soldiers, 1257 police officers and 34 village guards were wounded during special ops in Turkey, Daily Sabah says.
