Dito Montiel is writing and directing the comedy with Helms and Mike Falbo producing through their Pacific Electric shingle. Robin Schorr is also producing. The movie follows a professional “infomercial clapper” who gets plucked by a late-night talk show to host his own TV series. The 15 minutes of fame end up costing him his job, as well as a budding relationship with a girl who works at a gas station.
