Bastille rolls out new video for “Good Grief”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Bastille have revealed the visual feast that is the ‘Good Grief’ video, Gigwise reports.

The single is taken from the band’s forthcoming album, Wild World, which follows their 2013 debut Bad Blood. The video, which landed today, is quite something.

Described by frontman Dan Smith as a “mad visual Rubik’s Cube,” the video includes Smith’s decapitated head on a counter, people robbing a bank, a burning barn and... clear support for the free the nipple campaign.

Speaking further about the video, Smith said, “[It] takes a load of archetypal narrative scenarios and then twists and collides them together. We wanted to make something fun and chaotic and surreal that would serve as a fittingly odd accompaniment to the song.”

‘Good Grief’ is set for release on 22 July, and Wild World is out later this year.
