Sigur Ros unveil disturbing new video for “Óveður”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Sigur Ros have unveiled the beautiful, disturbing, violent video for ‘Óveður’, Gigwise reports.

The band premiered the song during recent festival performances, and they’ve now dropped the full studio version, alongside its Jonas Akerlund-directed video.

Shot in the village of Grindavík on the Reykjanes peninsular, the video stars choreographer Erna Ómarsdóttir as a homeless drunk woman with a one-eyed husky making her way through the village towards the local pub. Things quickly take a strange and violent turn.

Meanwhile, Sigur Ros headline Citadel Festival in London's Victoria Park on Sunday 17 July 2016.

They'll also be headlining the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury on Friday.
