"Ouija: Origin of Evil" supernatural horror trailer released (video) June 24, 2016 - 16:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The first trailer for supernatural horror "Ouija: Origin of Evil" has been released by Universal Pictures. It opens with a young girl looking through Ouija in front of a mirror, before being scared and possessed by a dark and scary evil in her house. The video later shows a widowed mother named Alice Zander (Elizabeth Reaser) holding hands in a circle with her clients in an attempt to make a contact with a spirit named Mary. Alice says, "Mary, we invite you into our circle. Is that you blow up the candles?" Alice and her two daughters are doing a seance scam business though. The next scene offers a look at their new stunt, Ouija, to support their business. Alice uses Ouija and tries to communicate with spirit. She asks, "Spirit, can you hear me?" However, her younger child, Doris (Lulu Wilson), answers in her room, "Yes we can, and we can see you," indicating that she is already possessed by the evil spirit. In another scene, Doris is being possessed by the evil spirit when she tries to communicate with her father through Ouija. Other scenes show several creepy things done by Doris. The film, a follow-up to "Ouija", tells a terrifying new tale about a widowed mother and her two daughters who add a new stunt to bolster their seance scam business and unwittingly invite authentic evil into their home. When the youngest daughter is overtaken by the merciless spirit, this small family confronts unthinkable fears to save her and send her possessor back to the other side. The prequel to 2014's sleeper hit also stars Henry Thomas, Annalise Basso, Doug Jones, Parker Mack, Sam Anderson and Kate Siegel. It is directed by Mike Flanagan from a script co-written by Flanagan and Jeff Howard. "Ouija: Origin of Evil" hits U.S. theaters on October 21.
