Armenia beats Wales to reach FIBA European Championship semi-finals

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's national basketball team beat Wales on Thursday, June 30 to reach the semi-finals at the 2016 FIBA European Championship For Small Countries.

The team got off to a successful start at the Championship on Tuesday, June 28.

Armenians defeated the Welsh team by the score of 92 to 40 after four quarters.

Scoring 20 points overall, Mike Danielian was the strongest among all the members of the Armenian basketball team, the National Olympic Committee said.
