ARMENIA NOT TO RENEW POWER SUPPLIES TO GEORGIA UNTIL PREVIOUS DEBT PAID OFF
Armenia will not renew the power supplies to Georgia until the debts for used ones are paid off. "Arminfo" agency has been reported that at the "Armenergo" company agreement department. According to the source, the power supplies to the Georgian regions populated by Armenians -Akhalkalaki and Bogdanovka were provided from the beginning of last year. But because of the $100-thousand debt, Armenia stopped the power supplies, although Georgia paid 10% of the debt mid-October. As it was noted at "Armenergo", at present Georgia does not need power supplies owing to its own water resources. But experts state that there might be power shortage in winter period.
