Forbes: Beyonce and Jay-Z highest-paid celebrity couple in the world

PanARMENIAN.Net - Beyonce and Jay-Z are the highest-paid celebrity couple, NME reports.

The pair's combined earnings have made them richer than any other famous couple in the past year.

According to the Forbes Celebrity 100 list, in which once a year stars are ranked into order of those who earn the most, Beyoncé earns $54 million. She was at number 34 in the list.

Her husband was placed at number 36, earning $53.5 million. Together, they have a combined income of $107.5 million.

As The Source reports, Beyoncé's Number One album 'Lemonade' and profits from her Formation World Tour will have boosted her income.

Jay Z's involvement in streaming service Tidal will also have helped the couple, with fans being incentivised to sign up by exclusive releases like the aforementioned 'Lemonade' and Kanye West's 'The Life Of Pablo'.

Taylor Swift, meanwhile, is the highest-paid celebrity in the world.

Last year, she was said to earn $80 million and this year she has seen that figure more than double. She is now said to earn $170 million.

She charts ahead of fellow pop stars like Adele, who is ninth on the list with $80.5 million. Madonna is at 12 with $76.5 million and Rihanna is at one place below with $75 million.
