Armenia Ombudsman submits police violence reports to Prosecutor GeneralAugust 1, 2016 - 18:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Ombudsman of Armenia Arman Tatoyan submitted the reports and materials on the use of violence against civilians on the night of July 29-30 to Prosecutor General. “The RA Ombudsman has sent materials containing information about the violence against peaceful protestors by the police officers on the night of July 29-30 at Khorenatsi Str. and Sari Tagh neighbourhood, as well as damage caused to Sari Tagh residents, to the RA Prosecutor General for resolving the issue through criminal prosecution. The materials refer to the actions of both police officers in uniforms and officers in civilian clothes, as claimed by citizens,” the Ombudsman’s statement reads.
