Arsinée Khanjian’s lawyers to appeal to court against police actionsAugust 6, 2016 - 19:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Canadian-Armenian actress, Arsinée Khanjian’s lawyers will appeal to the RA Administrative Court against the illegal activities of the police, one of the lawyers of Khanjian, member of the Chamber of Advocates, Aramazd Kiviryan told Panorama.am. “We’re going to appeal in order for the police actions of depriving a person of liberty, detaining, keeping them [in police station] without any basis, confiscating the phone to be recognized illegal. There have been numerous other violations. In fact, the lawyers weren’t allowed to enter the police station [for consultation with the client]. We’ve also reported this to the police. However, we don’t have any information about the procedure,” the lawyer clarified. Kiviryan noted that they’ve already started the process of the appeal. Arsinée Khanjian had been taken to police station on July 27 from Khorenatsi Str. Earlier, the actress told reporters that the police officers had searched her bag, and released her in three hours.
