BAKU SUGGESTS THIRD WAY OF NAGORNO-KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT, BASED ON MUTUAL COMPROMISES
Azerbaijan suggests the third way of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement based on mutual compromises. As "Arminfo" agency reports, Russian Calculating Chamber chair Sergey Stepashin stated that in his interview with "Zerkalo" Baku newspaper. At that he did not consider expedient to tell the details of that variant, as "this is quite a delicate issue". Attention was not focused on the situation in late 80-s in Soviet Union times, Stepashin noted. At that he spoke against the military settlement of the problem. " This issue cannot be settled in military way and those who instigate people to settle that issue in military way must realize in what their peoples might be mixed up, the Russian politician said.
