Armenia opposition MP, Defense Minister talk Karabakh issues

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian opposition MP, Civil Contract party board member Nikol Pashinyan on Saturday, August 27 met with Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, Pashinyan said in a Facebook post.

“At the meeting, we discussed issues concerning our latest visit to the frontline in Nagorno Karabakh and the four-day war in early April,” the MP said.

Azerbaijan launched an avert offensive on the night of April 1-2 against Nagorno Karabakh, taking a small plot of land. Hundreds of soldiers and civilians from both sides died until the parties reached a verbal agreement on a cessation of hostilities on April 5.

According to him, the meeting took place on the Defense Minister’s initiative.
