Daniel Radcliffe eyed for “Harry Potter & the Cursed Child” film trilogy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Warner Brothers is reportedly securing movie rights to "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child". The West End play is rumored to be turned into a trilogy on the big screen. As AceShowbiz reports citing New York Daily News, the original star, Daniel Radcliffe, is courted to reprise his role as the heroic wizard.

"The Cursed Child" follows an adult Harry and his youngest son. While the role was portrayed by a different actor in the London play, Radcliffe was open to return for the movie version. "It would depend on the script. The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary. But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo and look what happened there!" he told Radio Times. "So I am saying 'No' for now, but leaving room to backtrack in the future."

Meanwhile, WB is currently gearing up for the release of a spinoff "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" starring Eddie Redmayne. The first movie is due November 18 and will be followed by two sequels.
