Armenia wants visa liberalization talks with EUSeptember 5, 2016 - 11:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said on September 3 it’s high time to start visa liberalization talks with the European Union. Speaking at a Bratislava-hosted meeting of EU and Eastern Partnership Foreign Ministers, Nalbandian reminded that Armenia joined a number of EU projects such as COSME and Horizon 2020 following the summit in Riga. Also, he said, the country is planning to become a member of Creative Europe program and start negotiations on a Common Aviation Area agreement with the bloc. Weighing in on the visa liberalization issue, the foreign policy chief said it’s about time that Armenia and the Union start a dialogue on the matter.
