The duo will produce a limited series based on Nathan Hill's breakout novel "The Nix". The Oscar-winning actress is also expected to play the lead role for the project, AceShowbiz reports. The story follows a mother who sparks buzzes nationwide for her campaign protests and her estranged son who capitalizes on her fame and digs into her secretive past to pen her profile and ends up writing a scathing story about her. Meryl Streep was last seen on the big screen in "Florence Foster Jenkins" and will next star in "Mary Poppins Returns". Meanwhile, she hasn't been seen on the small screen for a while.
