Israeli Knesset supports peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict

PanARMENIAN.Net - Israel’s Knesset (parliament) stands for a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Deputy Speaker, Secretary General of Israel Labor Party (Avoda) Hilik Bar told reporters in Jerusalem Thursday, September 22, APA reports.

“I want Azerbaijanis and Armenians to find will to come together and resolve the Karabakh conflict peacefully,” said the deputy speaker.

Israel is supplying weapons and ammo to Azerbaijan, including the so-called suicide drones that were used to strike targets in Karabakh during the four-day war in early April.

Azerbaijani army unleashed an overt offensive against Karabakh April 2, during which hundreds were killed on both sides. Armenian and Azeri officials reached an agreement on the cessation of hostilities in Moscow on April 5.
