In the course of decades the singer, who was honored with the national title of "Armenian nightingale" brought glory to the Armenian song art with her unique voice. She was the best performer of vocal composition both of European and Armenian composers. With Gohar Gasparyan's name are connected achievements of Armenian music art, which have already become classics. With her work she proved that perfection of human voice is endless. Leaving the great stage, for a long time she has been working in the Yerevan Conservatory, passing secrets of her unique art to younger generation, which continued the mission of presenting the Armenian music art on the Armenian and world stages. Gohar Gasparyan died May 16 in Yerevan. She was 83 years old.
