PanARMENIAN.Net - Sony Pictures' "Bad Boys for Life" is expected to kick off the production next spring with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. While appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Thursday, October 6, Lawrence told Jimmy Kimmel that filming on the follow-up to "Bad Boys 2" was slated to begin in March 2017, AceShowbiz said.

When asked by Kimmel about what fans asked him the most, Lawrence replied, "The most is when are we going to do another 'Bad Boys'. We're looking towards maybe March." The Marcus Burnett of the "Bad Boys" film series continued, "So hopefully it may happen if we can get everybody together at the same time."

The 48-year-old host asked who the holdout was and Lawrence replied, "I don't think there's no holdout. It's just a matter of getting the script right and everything and just doing it at the right time." The 51-year-old actor added it was an official announcement that he would do another "Bad Boys" movie. "Officially, that's official," he noted.

Joe Carnahan ("The A-Team", "The Grey") is on board to direct the third "Bad Boys" movie from a script provided by "Safe House" scribe David Guggenheim. Jerry Bruckheimer is set to serve as producer, with Columbia Pictures handling the distribution. The upcoming film is supported by John West Jr. and Derrick Gilbert.

"Bad Boys for Life" is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters on January 12, 2018.
