Though most of the scenes are similar to those of the first trailer premiering at this year's SDCC, there is also some never-before-seen footage featured in the newly-released trailer, AceShowbiz reports. The 1-and-a-half-minute video opens with Connie Nielsen's Queen Hippolyta seemingly letting her daughter Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) leave Themyscira to explore the mortal world. One scene shows the Amazonian princess stepping into the WW I and deflecting a mortar bomb aimed at her with her shield. Directed by Patty Jenkins from a script by Geoff Johns and Allan Heinberg, "Wonder Woman" is coming to U.S. theaters on June 2, 2017. It follows the Amazonian princess who leaves her island home to explore the world and, in doing so, becomes one of the world's greatest heroes. The action movie also stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Lucy Davis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, Samantha Jo, Florence Kasumba and Said Taghmaoui.
