Arriving along with the international trailer, it introduces Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson (II) and Ryan Reynolds as part of a six-member crew aboard the International Space Station. The newly-released video shows the astronauts finding that there is a new life form on Mars. "We are looking at the first proof of life beyond Earth," says one of the crew members played by Ariyon Bakare. "I'm finally a daddy. It's gonna be a big custody battle over this one," Reynolds' Jack chimes in. However, their discoveries take a turn for the worse when the tiny creature quickly grabs one of them. "Life" tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected. Directed by Espinosa from a script by "Deadpool" writing duo Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, the sci-fi thriller is scheduled to arrive in U.S. theaters on Memorial Day weekend, May 26, 2017.
